Fourth of July Menu gluten free, soy free, and dairy free
The event of the year to most people. 4th of July is the epitome of the American Tradition and with it follows fireworks, parades, lots of food and barbecues, family and friends. A gathering at home, in parks, on the field, on the water, beaches, in the streets, hotels, restaurants, and vacation spots. Wherever you are celebrating our Independence, I wish you good food, fun and great company!
If you are going to be home, at a potluck, BBQ, or bringing a picnic outdoors food is the key. You may not look forward to some of the family or in-laws but everyone looks forward to the food! So I thought I would put together a menu (pictured below with links on each) from my recipe box to help take some of the planning out of the biggest event of the summer. Pick your favorites or what travels best, if needed, and eat up.
Happy 4th of July!
Salted Watermelon Cooler and Blender Lemonade, you can make popsicles with the leftovers!

Potato Wedges and Fry sauce for dipping, you can change things up with adding different varieties of sauces
Veggies and Almond cheeze dip, you can get creative and make an assortment of flavors with the almond cheeze
Mini Ebelskiver Corndogs- have ketchup, mustard, and bbq dipping sauces
Grilled Rosemary Chicken- if you want to make it all about kabobs you can cut up the chicken before cooking, marinate some veggies like red onion, bell peppers, mushrooms in a safe Italian dressing prior and thread it alternating veggies and meat on presoaked wood kabobs and ta daa. A whole new entree and a meal on a stick.
Citrus Shrimp- get small skewers and serve 3 per stick, or try adding marinated veggies to each skewer before grilling for a fuller entree.
Bacon and Basil Potato Salad- everyone loves potato salad, you can’t go wrong
Roasted Yellow Pepper Pasta Salad- if you are looking for a creamier finish, you can try adding about 1/8 Cup of Mayo soy-free to the dressing before tossing!

Vanilla Coconut Whip- add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract or pure Vanilla bean seeds.
