Gluten Free Breading Mix
This breading recipe is very versatile as you will see as I post future recipes. I use it in my burgers, meatloaf, meatballs, and with many more entrees. A base of almonds and gluten free oats with herbs and spices all processed in one container. Super easy and convenient when you are trying to cook a healthy meal in a hurry. Try in place of bread crumbs in some of your recipes and let me know what you think. I am sure other people would love to hear about the recipes you have had success in.
- 2 Cups Gluten Free Oats
- 1 Cup Slivered Almonds
- 1/8 tsp. Ground Cayenne or Ancho Chile Powder
- 2 tsp. Thyme
- 3 tsp. Oregano
- 1/2 tsp. Paprika
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
1. Pulse 30 – 45 seconds in your food processor. Cuisinart DLC-2011CHB Prep 11 Plus 11-Cup Food Processor, Brushed Stainless.
2. Store in an airtight glass container. I use Glasslock Storage Containers
